Lenawee Fuels was founded in 1958 by Don Purkey and a partner. In 1965, Don bought out his partner and incorporated the family business. Don's vision was to provide traditional service and the highest quality fuels to Michigan's agricultural businesses and heating oil customers.
In 1998, Bruce Litchford and Ken Heers joined Lenawee Fuels. When Don passed away in 2006, the partners took control of the business. Since its founding over 55 years ago, Lenawee Fuels has grown and expanded many times over.
The combination of hard work and honesty is the foundation of Lenawee Fuels. Our founder believed in traditional values, integrity, and honest hard work, and Lenawee Fuels still operates this way today.
We're regular folks. We're local. We understand your business, because we've grown up here, too. We all work together and don't take short cuts.
